Silverton Lofts is a two-story, red brick building constructed in 1895 during the first prospecting and mining boom that gave the Town of Silverton its name.

Our family has a long history in this stretch of the San Juans, starting with our great, great grandfather James Williams Jarvis who rode for the Pony Express as a teen, became a rancher in what is known today as Jarvis Meadows, and later went on to be a successful businessman in nearby Durango.

The Silverton Lofts building has been in our family for over 40 years. We’ve lovingly renovated to maintain the character of the building while also bringing modern amenities to the space for the comfort and enjoyment of our family as well as yours. Silverton and the Lofts are our home-away-from-home, and we love sharing this magical place with travelers, adventurers, and creatives.

In addition to our vacation rentals, Silverton Lofts is home to San Juan Expeditions and The Residency Project. We encourage you to check these out during your visit!
